Matthew Stafford

He's playing a Rams defense which ranked "Not That Pretty" in most every category last year. I have him winning the MVP so I'm wanting him to get off to a good start.

Arian Foster

Miami had the 3rd best rush defense in the NFL last year. This off season they lost Yeremiah Bell (leading tackler from last year), Vontae Davis (lead team in INT's last year) and veteran corner Will Allen. Oh ya, Foster is pretty good anyways.

Calvin Johnson

Cortland Finnegan and rookie Janoris Jenkins are each 5' 10" on a stool. Megatron comes in at 6' 5" and a vertical close to 40 inches. I could throw at least 1 TD to Johnson this weekend.

Brandon Pettigrew

When they double Calvin, and at some point they will, Stafford will find Pettigrew. I'm not putting him in this list for yards but a couple of TD's wouldn't shock me one bit.

Marshawn Lynch To Start Against the Cardinals, Fantasy Football Analysis

Good news for fantasy football owners that happen to own Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch because according to a report issued by ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter, the back who went into beast mode the entire second half of last season will get the start today against NFC West rival Arizona. Lynch has been dealing with some back issues and has been limited in practice...

Seahawks expect Marshawn Lynch to be a game time decision

Marshawn Lynch escaped suspension, at least for now, after being arrested for DUI this offseason, but he could still miss week 1 after his back spasms flared up again. A recurring injury, they cost Lynch one game last season and limited him throughout the preseason. If he can’t go, Robert Turbin, a 4th round rookie, would get the start. The Seahawks need him out there, even against...

It's Finally Week One For The Seattle Seahawks

It’s the first week of the NFL regular season and before I begin talking about it, why don’t we take a moment to be thankful that football is back. Now I know college football started last week and I’m aware that the preseason started over a month ago, but for an NFL guy like me, Wednesday night was the beginning of the best time of the year. The Giants and Cowboys already...

Five Seattle Seahawks who must impress vs. Cardinals Sunday

Step up time The Seattle Seahawks are headed down to University of Phoenix Stadium Sunday to take on division foe Arizona to start the regular season. Marshawn Lynch Returns To Practice Thursday

Seattle halfback Marshawn Lynch (back) returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday, according to the Tacoma News Tribune.Fantasy Spin:There's really no way of predicting whether Lynch will be available Sunday. Even if he doesn't have back spasms for a few days the spasms could always return prior to Sunday's game. Lynch owners should be ready to plug in another option...

Marshawn Lynch Will Play

Adam Schefter of ESPN said running back Marshawn Lynch will be in action for Seattle in Week 1. Fantasy Spin: Robert Turbin will be worked into the mix and Lynch is unlikely to handle a full workload though, so keep expectations tempered a bit.

Marshawn Lynch Expected To Play

Running back Marshawn Lynch is expected to play. Fantasy Spin: Lynch would remain a risky fantasy play though, as his workload would be uncertain and his back spasms could send him back to the sideline at any given moment during battle.

Week One Preview: Seahawks at Cardinals

At long last, the Seahawks will be playing their first game of the regular season tomorrow.  Here’s a few things to keep in mind as they take on the Cardinals: 1) The offensive line is Arizona’s weakest unit. With their starting left tackle Levi Brown and best backup tackle (and former starting right tackle) Jeremy Bridges on injured reserve, the Cardinals will be forced to...

'Predict the Madden Curse' Contest

As I mentioned in the Madden Curse History post and on Friday's podcast, we here at Boris Diaw Time are going to be holding a special contest in honor of The Madden Curse. The contest goal will be to predict the Madden Curse as accurately as possible. Here is some backstory as to why I would ever have such an idea... In the fall of 2006, I was a junior at Grace College in...
