The New Orleans Saints have a plan in place for their offense. They are expected to hire San Francisco 49ers passing game coordinator Klint Kubiak as their new offensive coordinator.
Now, they are looking to find other staff pieces to surround Kubiak.
Long-time NFL offensive line coach John Benton has emerged as a top target for the Saints' OL coach position, according to Luke Johnson . They let go of Doug Marrone late last week.

Benton has 20 years of coaching experience in the NFL. He spent a bulk of that under Gary Kubiak, the father of Klint.
Additionally, Benton spent time in San Francisco in recent years. He was the team's OL coach from 2017-2020. That's another tie to the Shanahan system for a potential addition to the Saints staff. Their direction is clear.
The only offensive position coaches on the Saints staff are QBs coach Ronald Curry and tight ends coach Clancy Barone. After the Super Bowl, their deal with Kubiak is expected to become official. He could make some changes or additions once he joins the organization officially.
