Veteran wide receiver Torry Holt and the New England Patriots reached an injury settlement today, allowing Holt to become a free agent. Holt could potentially sign with another team if he decides to return from a serious knee injury this season.
Holt, who is destined to end up in Canton someday, was scheduled to undergo surgery on his knee this week after the Patriots placed him on season-ending injured reserve Sunday.
