Coming off what was one of the least productive seasons of his 11-year NFL career, Torry Holt signed a one-year deal with the New England Patriots back in April. On Sunday, the team placed him on injured reserve with an unspecified knee injury that will require surgery, ending his season, and leading to questions as to whether or not he'll be able to continue his career.Here's what his agent, Kennard McGuire, had to say about the news, via Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston: "It's a great disappointment for Torry. He saw this as a terrific chance to play with another great quarterback and being coached by one of the all-time greats."A first-round pick by the Rams during the 1999 draft, Holt is 11th on the NFL's all-time list with 920 receptions, while gaining 13,382 yards with St. Louis and Jacksonville.
