According to Tony Softly of 101 ESPN in St. Louis, former Rams wide receiver Torry Holt will sign a one day contract with the Rams and officially retire.
Holt was fortunate enough to win a Super Bowl during his rookie season with the Rams when quarterback Kurt Warner was forced to step in after Trent Green went down for the season in a preseason game and “The Greatest Show on Turf” was born.
Holt finished his career with 920 receptions, 13,382 yards and 74 touchdowns. Most people say he’ll likely fall short of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, we’ll just have to wait and see.
