There have been a lot of touchbacks so far this season for Buffalo’s kick return unit with the new kickoff rule. It’s taken the ball out of Brad Smith’s hands a lot through the first three games, but head coach Chan Gailey isn’t frustrated by it. “Yeah, there’s give and take in that,” Gailey told Buffalobills.com. ”I’m disappointed in our kickoff returns because we’re starting at the 20 so many times and he’s a valuable weapon in that area. But at the same time our kickoff coverage has been pretty good. I think we have the most tackles on kickoffs inside the 20 of any team in the league. If we can keep doing that then I’ll take the swap.”
