Kyle Larson clinched his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) driver's championship after finishing sixth in Saturday's race at North Carolina's Rockingham Speedway. This season, Larson had two wins and 12 top-10 finishes in 14 races driving a Toyota Camry for Rev Racing.  The 19-year-old Elk Grove, Calif.-native posted victories at Georgia's Gresham Motorsports Park (June 9) and at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (Sept. 22).  Along with his two wins, Larson finished second twice and earned a total of eight top-five results. "I've been lucky a lot this year -- just stayed consistent and got the championship," said Larson, after the season-finale.  "It feels great.  I have to thank the whole Rev Racing team, Toyota and everyone that helps out on this team." Toyota drivers visited victory lane in seven of the 14 NKNPSE races this season.  In addition to Larson's two wins, Camry drivers Brett Moffitt (two), Cale Conley (one), Nel...

Rebuttal to CincyJungle – Should Lewis be fired?

Cincyjungle.com has an an article up today talking about whether or not Marvin Lewis should be fired. They take the stance that Marvin is the best coach Cincinnati has had in some time and has the team on the right direction. We here (or me because I am currently writing this) believe the opposite. After almost 10 years Marvin has done much for this franchise. He has wrangled some...

Tecmo Bowl Futures – Bengals Vs Broncos

This week the Bengals host the Broncos. Lets see how Tecmo thinks the game is going to shake out. After receiving the ball, the Broncos are forced to punt. Some lackluster offense from the Bengals has the stripes punting it right back. And then another punt. At the end of one nothing has really happened. Punting is the skill that is being tested today. The Bengals manage to move...

Face It The Bengals Defense Isn’t Very Good & They Are Facing Peyton Manning They Got Troubles

The Cincinnati Bengals could be in for their 4th loss in a row. The team’s defense isn’t their strong point and they are going to be facing the NFL’s highest rated quarterback in Peyton Manning. The Broncos are winning football games and they could give the Bengals more than they can handle with their secondary trying to stop Peyton Manning. The Bengals could find a way to...

Getting to know your 2012 K&N East Series Champion Kyle Larson

For those who might not be familiar with you, tell us a little bit about how you got into racing, and your prior experiences before getting into racing and what got you into racing? I was kinda of born into it, my parents were race fans, they took me to my first sprint race when I was about a week old, as a spectator I went to able 70 to 80 races a year just to watch. I have always...

Bengals CB Dre Kirkpatrick Will Play First Game

Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, the team's first-round pick, is active and will play in his first NFL game. It is unknown how much Kirkpatrick will play against the Broncos and quarterback Peyton Manning. Bengals cornerback Terence Newman has struggled this season. Kirkpatrick was sidelined during offseason camps with injuries and then hurt his knee before training camp...

Brandon Stokley cringes a bit at miracle catch

(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated.) By ARNIE STAPLETON AP Pro Football Writer Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis isn't the only one haunted by the ''Immaculate Deflection.'' So is Brandon Stokley, who caught the batted ball and raced 87 yards for the score with 11 seconds left, giving Denver an improbable 12-7 win at Cincinnati in 2009. With the Bengals (3...

Bengals Placed LB Dontay Moch On IR For Migranes; Promote LB Emmanuel Lamur

The Cincinnati Bengals placed Bengals defensive end/linebacker hybrid (or whatever) Dontay Moch on season-ending Injured Reserve Friday. Actually it's called the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list, after his returning migraines have already began putting his season in serious jeopardy after head coach Marvin Lewis acknowledged that his migraines had returned. Last year when his...

Bengals CB Dre Kirkpatrick active vs Broncos

Kirkpatrick hasn't played because of a knee injury suffered over the summer. The first-round pick hadn't been active for any game so far. Champ gets his chance to cover AJ

One of the interesting match-ups I will be watching on Sunday is that of Champ Bailey and AJ Green. In he match-up of the Broncos and the Bengals last season, Champ was out and had to watch as AJ racked up 124 yds and a TD on his Broncos.   In an article today in the Denver post, Champ talks about AJ and how he thinks he is one of the best receivers in the league.   “There...

Film Room — Stokley’s Last Visit to Cincinnati

The Denver Broncos (4-3) will take on the Cincinnati Bengals (3-4) on the road this weekend.  The last time the Broncos played in Cincinnati (2009), this went down: Following the 2009 season, Stokley, battling injuries, spent time with the Seahawks and Giants from 2010-11, catching 32 receptions for 364 yards during that time.  This offseason, Stokley returned to Denver to join...

Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals: Hero and Zero of the Game

In one of the more entertaining games this weekend, the Denver Broncos needed a fourth quarter rally and two touchdowns to hold off a late charge from the Cincinnati Bengals for the win 31-23. The momentum changed side numerous times in this back and forth affair, and in reviewing the game for identifying the "hero" and “zero”, I had plenty of candidates from both teams...

Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals: Three Bold Predictions

The 4-3 Denver Broncos may be playing the best football right now but their record does not reflect it.  At 3-4, the Cincinnati Bengals are spiraling downward and descending in the AFC North. A win for the Broncos will help create a larger distance in their AFC West lead and a win for the Bengals will keep them in pace with the Steelers and Ravens. So what is likely to take place...

Buck the Broncos…

The second half is here, and since the Bengals had a chance to change things up, I did the same thing with my picks.  I’m changing it up a little bit to prove to (fool) myself that this season is far from over.  If Andy, Ray and the other leaders on this team take what Marvin said to heart then hopefully we’ll be seeing a new group of guys out there today.  I’m all for fresh...
