New York Jets WR Plaxico Burress, 11.27
On his third down catch on the final offensive drive…
It was an all-out blitz by Buffalo. He (Mark Sanchez) just looked at me and gave me the signal. I didn’t think Sanchez was going to throw it.
On the difficulty of his third down grab…
It was just a regular catch to me. The goal is to haul them all in and just try to find a way to get to them.
On winning today and helping the Jets playoff chances…
As a team, we are mentally prepared. We just need to focus on the team we are playing every week. You can’t afford to look forward or past any teams. We just have to go out and focus on winning each game each week.
New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes, 11.27
On what he saw on his game-winning touchdown catch…
The quarterback got flushed out of the pocket. We know what we’re taught in practice is to just keep the play alive until it’s completed, thrown away (or) whatever. The guy had his back turned to the quarterback and I was watching his every

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson celebrated a touchdown reception and mocked opponents Plaxico Burress and Santonio Holmes in the process.
After reeling in a five-yard score in the second quarter during Sunday's game, Johnson pretended to shoot himself in the leg as he began his touchdown celebration.
Johnson then extended his arms and mocked Holmes' touchdown...

From Rich Cimini’s blog:
Game officials seem to have it out for QB Mark Sanchez. He has been victimized by at least two illegal hits that resulted in fines — the Broncos’ Von Miller ($25,000) and the Ravens’ Haloti Ngata ($15,000) — but no flag was thrown in either case and there have been no roughing-the-passer penalties all season. Sanchez has drawn two personal-foul...

Why Watch: To see which team will fall further faster. Of the two teams, Buffalo is up against it. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick got the big contract just before his performance slipped. His November passer rating is 47.7. Then calamity struck when the Bills put ace running back...

Jim Leonhard left no secret that he wasn’t happy with the boobirds directed at Mark Sanchez before the Jets’ 28-24 win to the Bills on Sunday. The veteran safety, one of the most well-respected and fan-friendly players on Rex Ryan’s team, admitted on Tuesday that he took exception to the fans’ ...
Plaxico Burress says Steve Johnson has apologized for TD celebration.
Mark Sanchez threw four TD passes as the Jets rallied past the Bills 28-24. The QB was erratic, however, and Chris Burke wonders how long Sanchez can keep his vocal critics at bay.
Stay classy, Stevie Johnson. The young wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills mocked Plaxico Burress after scoring a touchdown against the New York Jets by pretending to shoot himself in the thigh. As you remember, Plaxico Burress was arrested and served jail time after shooting himself in the leg back in 2008.
Stevie Johnson’s celebration got him flagged for excessive celebration...
The obituary to the Jets’ season can wait another week — or more — after Mark Sanchez threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Santonio Holmes to keep their playoff hopes alive in a 28-24 victory.
I think everyone knows by now that I'm not a big Rex Ryan fan. But that was a nice and also necessary comeback by his Jets on Sunday. They rallied to beat Buffalo and Mark Sanchez passed for four touchdowns. It was a career high for Sanchez, but it wasn't a convincing win for the Jets, that's for sure.
The Bills have been stumbling and are pretty short on personnel....
