New York Jets RB LaDainian Tomlinson, 11.15 On responding to the loss… The good thing is the game is coming fast. You have no choice, really, then to put the last game behind you and move on. So, for us, we have a big challenge against us. Obviously, we’ve got to travel way across country and then you’re playing against a team that’s not normal, (compared to) what other teams do. With (Tim) Tebow, obviously, (there is) some different stuff that he brings to the table. Defensively, they present a lot of challenges, great pass rushers, good on the back end, so we have our work cut out for us. On how he is feeling… I’m just taking it day-by-day. Each day it gets a little better. Just kind of leave it up to how I feel on game day. On whether he would like to make the trip to Denver… I would hope so, but at the same time, I’m sure Rex (Ryan) has a couple of ideas of what he wants to see before we leave. Hopefully, I can do everything I need to do to convince him one way or the other. N...

Jets QB Brunell plays Tebow role in preparation for Broncos

In his prime, Mark Brunell was one of the NFL's most mobile quarterbacks. Now the 41-year-old just plays one in practice, performing Tim Tebow's role in drills to help the Jets prepare for Thursday's showdown with the Broncos.

41-year-old Brunell plays part of Tebow decoy for Jets

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — When the New York Jets need to simulate Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, the responsibility falls to a man old enough to be his father. Well, at least Mark Brunell is left-handed just like Tebow. Having turned 41 years old in September, Brunell is 17 years the senior of Tebow, the second-year quarterback who will create all sorts of match-up issues for...

Audible: What Role Will McKnight & Powell Play Tonight?

With the news that LaDainian Tomlinson and Jeremy Kerley won’t play this weekend, the Jets offense will be limited without two players who have crucial roles on third downs.  This also would mean that unless the Jets activate another player, the Jets would only have two running backs.  So who will fill the void?  It would make sense that Joe McKnight could factor into the offensive...

More Drama

FLORHAM PARK–Sunday’s game against the Patriots didn’t go quite as well as the Jets had hoped. All week long, the focus was on beating the Patriots and taking over the division lead. Not only did it not happen, but New England’s win turned into a trouncing. It was odd, especially since the first drive of the game was exactly what the Jets had wanted to do all season long...
