Recently on ESPN.com, a video was posted of a discussion between Mel Kiper, Trent Dilfer, and Chris Mortensen that was focused on the topic of whether or not the Steelers are still relevant. While Kiper and Mortensen were somewhat pessimistic about the 2013 version of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dilfer believes in the team’s ability to replace the departure of such stars as James Harrison. Dilfer goes on to say that by the end of the new season, the NFL will be familiar with several new names on the Steelers roster.

Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert was asked about the possibility of losing restricted free agent Emmanuel Sanders a few weeks at the owners meetings and was pretty straight forward with his response.
“We’ll wait to see what fits. If a player makes sense, if we think he’s a better player and we can make it fit financially, then we’ll investigate,” said...
I have a feeling that the 2013 NFL Draft is going to be one of the craziest drafts in a long-time because not one of the prospects have solidified themselves as the number one player. Draft experts are still debating whether Luke Joeckel will go to the Chiefs number one overall. However, my first bold prediction for the 2013 draft is that the Pittsburgh Steelers will select a quarterback...
So let's say that Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert decides that he does want to match the one-year offer sheet that restricted free agent wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has signed with the New England Patriots. What options to the Steelers have to create the needed cap space?
For starters, the Steelers would instantly have the $1.323 million tender price to...
Despite everything that you are currently reading from the major media, don't expect the Pittsburgh Steelers to match the one-year offer sheet that restricted free agent wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has now signed with the New England Patriots.
The offer is believed to be about $4 million and matching it would require perhaps an unwanted restructure or release of another player...
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports via Twitter on Wednesday that the Pittsburgh Steelers plan to have free agent running back Ahmad Bradshaw in for another visit just prior to the draft taking place.
Before we go any further, I always like to caution you about any report made by Rapoport, who doesn't have a great track record as far as his accuracy goes.
The Steelers had Bradshaw...
D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Monday on Twitter that that the Pittsburgh Steelers are one of five teams to put Michigan State running back Le'Veon Bell through a private pre draft workout.
Bell, who measured in at the NFL combine at 6013 and 230 pounds, posted a 4.62 40-yard dash...
Importance of finding a young backup for 31-year-old quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is growing for Kevin Colbert and the Steelers.
The New England Patriots have added another weapon to their offense, as they have signed restricted free agent WR Emmanuel Sanders to a one-year deal.
The news coming from Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports, states that the Patriots have submitted the offer and the Steelers will have five days to match it.

Former NFL quarterback and head coach of the Elite 11 program Trent Dilfer told the quarterbacks gathered on Saturday that he had not seen the spark or the passion out of any of them that his staff was looking for in a finalist for Elite 11 quarterback. Dilfer saw it on Sunday as the weekend in North Texas continued at the Nike NFTC held in the beautiful Allen High School Stadium and facilities.
ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that Alabama OT D.J. Fluker is “one of true rising players in draft.”
Fluker is already considered to be a first-round pick by many, but there has been some questions regarding whether or not he’s capable of playing offensive tackle at the next level. Some believe his lack of athleticism and overall size could force him to play guard instead...
