New Chicago Bears coach Marc Trestman showed a sense of humor at his introductory press conference on Thursday. Trestman, a longtime NFL assistant, spent the past five years building a successful head coaching career with the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes. Now he is back in the NFL, where the rules are a bit different. "I'm excited to have four downs, not three," Trestman said. Trestman won two Grey Cups in Montreal. Before that, Trestman worked with some of the top quarterbacks in the NFL as an offensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals. He also had a stint at North Carolina State. Now he will work with Jay Cutler, a talented but inconsistent signal caller. "The No. 1 marriage in all of sports is between the quarterback and his coach," Trestman said. "The quarterback is going to have the keys to the car ... Jay is not a first-year player coming in." ...

Video: A Bad Lip Reading of the NFL

Bad Lip Reading is a YouTube channel that takes popular movies, celebrities, or songs and dubs them with “new” lines or lyrics. Their new video took a different direction, dubbing the dialogue and antics of the NFL. And it’s one of their best ones yet.   I nearly died laughing at Jim Harbaugh yelling at the refs “I want it now! I want cake now!” Or Tom Brady telling...

What’s the 2nd biggest problem the Chicago Bears have?

It’s no secret at this point. The most glaring need that the Chicago Bears need to address this offseason is their offensive line. You can copy and paste the 2 sentences above into a description of the Bears heading into last offseason. And in 2010… And in 2009… You get my point. Unfortunately for Jay Cutler, he had to get dragged to the turf 148 times over the past 4 seasons...
