Washington's Mike Shanahan, Houston's Gary Kubiak and St. Louis' Jeff Fisher will take part in the Drive for Dinger, a two-day fundraiser on June 28.
Heimerdinger was a longtime NFL assistant coach and coordinator, most recently with the Tennessee Titans. The Heimerdinger Foundation aims to help cancer patients by providing support and healthy meals.
The fundraiser to assist Meals 2 Heal starts with a dinner and silent auction followed by golf in Franklin, Tenn.
Heimerdinger was diagnosed with cancer in November 2010. He continued to coach the Titans the rest of the season and died 10 months later.

The worst-kept secret in Houston was officially announced today; Gary Kubiak will be sticking around for awhile longer. The new hit twitter about an hour ago that team owner Bob McNair had extended his head coach until the end of the 2014 season.
I say it wasn’t a secret because hardly any coach reaches “lame duck” status in the NFL anymore. But what it curious to me is...

“Stability is very important to me,” said Texans...
HOUSTON -- Under the cover of oppressive and unrelenting early-summer heat, where organized team activities and mini-camps aren't subject to intense scrutiny, the Texans continue the process of seeking a complement to their foremost franchise player: receiver Andre Johnson.
There are plenty who believe that this pressing need could have -- should have -- been addressed during...
With both heading into the final years of their respective contracts, the Texans have extended both Head Coach Gary Kubiak and GM Rick Smith, through 2014 and 2016 respectively. Both have, at various times in their tenure in Houston, had people call for them to be fired as the Texans were missing the playoffs every season and perennially underachieving.
However, after the Texans...

ST. LOUIS (AP) Nearly three months since the St. Louis Rams lost their defensive coordinator, coach Jeff Fisher appears to be in no hurry to define roles among the handful of people capable of filling the void.
Fisher believes if the game plan is sound, it doesn't matter who makes the calls.
"The most difficult part of the week is putting the plan together," Fisher...

Over the years, St. Louis Rams stud running back Steven Jackson has matured as one of the leaders of the team and is literally the face of the Rams franchise.
So when the running back went out of his way and told...
Who are the most overrated and underrated players on the Rams roster? That depends on who you ask. However, there are two players that stand out in my mind based on their statistics. It was hard to pick two players considering that the Rams have hired Jeff Fisher and a whole new coaching staff. The future is looking good for St. Louis but I'm basing the list based on the past...
