We’ve heard of “fact or fiction”, “buy or sell” and “true or false”, but I am darn certain that I have never heard of the question “true or fart”.  ESPN must be running out of segment names.  Robert Flores, one of the better Sportscenter anchors in recent years, hosted a one-hour fantasy football show with espn.com’s Matthew Berry and NFL analyst Tim Hasselbeck.

When preparing fantasy footballers for approaching where to rank running backs, Flores had a little slip of the tongue.  Or quite possibly he was getting a jump on a new trend – true or fart!  Raise your hand if you’d rather hear Flores and Van Pelt list facts and dropping air biscuits than Skip Bayless and Rob Parker verbally fart on the air every morning.

And for the record, I think it’s fart that Marshawn Lynch matches last season’s production.
