Turn On The Jets:
New York Jets rookie linebacker Marcus Dowtin was nice enough to take the time to speak with Turn On The Jets yesterday. Dowtin was recently promoted to the active roster and has the versatility to play a number of roles in Rex Ryan’s defense, hence earning the nickname: The Hybrid. Dowtin also stepped up recently by offering support for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Make sure you are following him both on Facebook and Twitter.
JC - What inspired you to be one of the first Jets players to step up and offer support to the victims of the Hurricane in the area?
MD - I have family throughout the area, which helped me really understand just how deep the devastation truly was. It was horrible what the people here had to deal with. This is our community and I wanted to make sure that I did something, even if it was only a little something to help give back to our fans.
JC - Obviously your nickname stems from your ability to play a variety of positions and do a variety of things on the footb...

LaDainian Tomlinson said Wednesday that he thinks he knows the identities of at least two of the Jets players who anonymously savaged Tim Tebow.
I GET SO EMOTIONAL
Known for his bluster and bravado, the Jets coach showed a different side of himself to his players following their loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.
After Sunday’s loss to the Seahawks, New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromarite had some choice words for those who want to see quarterback Mark Sanchez benched in favor of Tim Tebow.

After yet another putrid performance in Sunday’s 28-7 loss to the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington, it is more evident than ever that Mark Sanchez is a quarterback incapable of making the New York Jets a winning organization. … Continue reading →
The horrid play of Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez along with the team's 3-6 record has some fans and pundits calling for the Jets to finally make the move and insert Tim Tebow as starting quarterback.
That might be a popular decision among the masses outside of Rex Ryan's tear-filled locker room, but inside, Tebow has anything but the support of his Gang Green teammates....
When you’re are the quarterback of a team and expected to be a leader, it’s a bad sign when your teammates have no confidence in you.According to the Daily News, New York Jets players believe Tebow shouldn’t be starting at quarterback, and going as far as saying, “he’s terrible.”There has been a lot of hoopla over the quarterback situation in New York since the offseason...
Per a report from CNN’s Sports Illustrated, New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan thinks the player(s) who called Tim Tebow “terrible” are “a cowardly thing.” Ryans comments are in response to an earlier report of over a dozen Jets players and members of the organization anonymously criticizing Tebow. Ryan is absolutely right; if you want to call Tebow terrible, be like the...
Hyperbolic headline aside, Matt Slauson isn’t actually a hero. In fact, after the dirty block that he put on Brian Cushing that ended the Texans linebacker’s season earlier this year, he might actually be an asshole. However, I nominate Matt Slauson for BESTEST JERKYFACE EVER for being the one teammate willing to go on the record bashing Tim Tebow to the New York Daily News....
After another loss to the hands of the Seattle Seahawks 28-7, The New York Jets fall to 3-6 and last place in the AFC East. Playoffs are slipping out of reach and when asked about the quarterback position Rex Ryan after the game say's he's sticking with Mark, who according to Rex gives the Jets the best chance to win. The Jets have scored 1 offensive Touchdown in 2 games...
The New York Jets' offense was listless in Seattle and that didn't sit well with head coach Rex Ryan.
The Seattle Seahawks (6-4) beat the New York Jets (3-6) 28-7, this past Sunday at CentruyLink Field from Seattle, WA.
As soon as the Jets told media before this game saying they were going to make the playoffs, but that likely won't happen now as they got crushed by Seattle.
It's time for Rex Ryan to pull Mark Sanchez from the starting QB position, although it is unlikely...
