Former Tuskegee Golden Tiger Drayton Florence returned an interception 71 yards in the Carolina Panthers' 34-27 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Drayton Florence has made a lot of plays since coming into the NFL in 2003. The Tuskegee product made another one Thursday night, picking off a Joe Flacco pass and returning it 71 yards for a touchdown. That play was the first of several key takeaways that helped the Carolina Panthers to a 34-27 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Sure, it was only a preseason game. But it was Week Three of the preseason, the one that most closely resembles a regular season game. And it was against the defending Super Bowl champs. The 32 year-old defensive back is in his first year with Carolina and could play a big role on a secondary looking for playmakers.
