Elvis Dumervil of the Denver Broncos received his second Pro Bowl invite in the last three years. Last year Elvis missed the entire season with a pectoral injury. After missing some time early this season due to injury Dumervil has put up solid numbers and appears to be fully recovered. 13 games in Elvis has logged 9.5 sacks and is averaging just over 2.5 tackles per game.
“This year is one of those examples — you never stop, you never quit,” Dumervil said. “It’s all about how you finish. The first one is your first, so it’s special in that way,” he said. “But this year is different with the adversity and playing through pain, and to be able to give the team a chance to go to the playoffs. This one means a lot, to overcome that adversity.”
