James Casey, #86 Two Houston Texans made the 2012 USA Today’s All Joe Team and they were fullback James Casey and special teams star Bryan Braman. Both players were key parts of the 2012 team and were put on this recognized post season team released by USA Today. The criteria of the team is as follows: About the team: The All-Joe team was created in 1992 by longtime USA TODAY Sports NFL writer Larry Weisman as a tribute to Joe Phillips, a 14-year defensive lineman who did yeoman’s work for the Kansas City Chiefs that season. His effort in the trenches didn’t lead to much glory … unless you point to the 29 combined sacks of Derrick Thomas and Neil Smith, Kansas City’s fifth-ranked defense or the team’s wild-card run. USA TODAY Sports has honored the unsung Joes ever since and compiles them in a 53-man roster that has at least one representative from every NFL team. Only players who have never been named to the Pro Bowl are eligible.   You can see the complete team here.

Houston Texans Duane Brown Sings “Somebody I Used To Know” (VIDEO)

Lately I have noticed a handful of athletes willing to test their vocal skills out publicly, especially football players. Houston Texans offensive lineman Duane Brown was visiting The Roula and Ryan Show on 104.1 KRBE, and decided to sing Goyte’s hit song “Somebody That I Used to Know.”  I was expecting a Berry White voice coming from Brown, however I was clearly wrong. Never...

Duane Brown from The Houston Texans sings "Somebody that I used to know"

My Man, hahaha.  Check out my high school classmate Duane Brown who is an offensive lineman for the Houston Texans.  He's trying his hand at signing Goyte's hit song, "Somebody That I Used To Know" on The Roula and Ryan Show on 104.1 KRB.  Personally I think it's an awesome job, but that's partly because I have to say that.  Check it out for yourself...

Yao Ming is still a ginormous human being who can make even JJ Watt seem small in comparison

Texans DE JJ Watt is a 6-foot-5, 295-pound beast of a man, but put him next to retired NBA star Yao Ming and his impressive 7-foot-6, 310-pound frame, and Watt goes from imposing hulk to, well, a normal sized human being. According to Watt’s Twitter account the two had lunch together, but the 2012 NFL Defensive Player of the Year failed to mention whether the pair broke out in...

Is Harvin to Houston a Possibility?

Word coming out of Minnesota is that disgruntled wide receiver Percy Harvin is looking for a way out-of-town, and looks like it is heading that direction. One of the more complete and explosive players in the NFL, Harvin can create instant offense on the ground, in the air and returning kicks. Adam Rank of NFL.com said this of Percy Harvin, It is apparent that Harvin will be finding...
