Seattle Times:
Tyler Roehl, an undrafted free agent fullback signed by Seattle in April suffered a torn knee ligament during a non-contact practice on Monday, according to reporter Jeff Kolpack of The Forum, in Fargo, S.D. N.D.
Roehl confirmed that it was his left knee that was injured.
Here's the report from Kolpack:
Former North Dakota State running back Tyler Roehl spent four years in college bruising opposing defenses. But this week, his dream of delivering some punishment to NFL defenders took a detour.
The Seattle Seahawks running back suffered an ACL tear during a non-contact drill at the team's practice facility on Monday. He will remain in Seattle for surgery and rehabilitation and will miss his rookie season.
The injury happened during a kickoff coverage exercise in what the team calls OTA, or organized team activities.
"I just planted my foot, my foot stayed and the rest of my body didn't," he said. "I knew something was wrong right away."
