Found May 28, 2013 on Pro Football Zone:
According to Black Sports Online, Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu sent a direct message to a 17 year-old girl on Twitter asking her when she turns 18.   Mathieu didn’t do anything legally wrong here, but I’m sure his girlfriend won’t be happy to find out about this news.  He’s certainly not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but is one heck of a football player. This is just another example of why my son and daughter won’t be on social media until they turn 18.   Need NFL Tickets? • The NFL is already monitoring the kid for drug use. Do the Cardinals now need to treat him like an adolescent and shut down his facebook/twitter account? I am not hopeful Mathieu can stay out of the news cycle due to inappropriate behavior. The Cardinals have their hands full dealing with this player!

Tyrann Mathieu Flirts With Underage Girl, Who Releases Screenshot of Twitter DMs (Photo)

Well, it turns out the Honey Badger does, in fact, care about something: avoiding a statutory rape conviction. Arizona Cardinals Defensive Back Tyrann Mathieu Has So Much to Learn (and I don't mean about football)

Anyone who has played or watched college sports in recent years should be entirely aware of the danger that social media holds. Why else would so many college football teams ban players from Twitter, Facebook, etc.? Cardinals defensive back Tyran Mathieu must have missed that back in college. Otherwise he wouldn't have been flirting (and the aggressor) with an underage girl...

Fitz: Swope missed OTA time with concussion issues

When the Cardinals selected receiver Ryan Swope in the sixth round (174th) overall of Aprils NFL Draft, he insisted that the concussions he suffered at Texas A&M were not an issue and never really were. Im 100 percent right now, he said in a conference call with local media members. Ive had just a few head injuries that have been minor. Ive never missed a college game. I feel...

Darnell Dockett, Calais Campbell Like Arizona Cardinals New Defensive Approach

Defensive ends live to put pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Arizona Cardinals defensive ends Darnell Dockett and Calais Campbell are no exception. Those two veteran players will get an opportunity to dial up the heat on enemy signal-callers this coming season under new defensive coordinator Todd Bowles. Arizona will still use the 3-4 as their base defense, as they have during the...
