6-foot-8 Blair center Chris Matagrano has picked his college home. Matagrano has decided to attend the University of New Hampshire next fall.
The Sayreville high school grad had an excellent summer on the AAU circuit. He was named to the Reebok Summer Classic East All Tournament Team this past July. As a senior at Sayreville last year Matagrano averaged 11.4 ppg.
Earlier in his career he was a Honorable Mention All Tournament pick at the Gym Rats Invitational and last summer was named Most Improved player at Hoop Group Elite Camp Session 4.
This season Matagrano has helped lead the Buccaneers to a 9-2 start against a tough schedule.
