Sterling Moore saved the New England Patriots. Forget Tom Brady and the explosive offense. When all was said and done it was Moore whose hand knocked the ball free from Baltimore Ravens Lee Evans saving the go-ahead touchdown. The score would have given the Ravens the lead and instead they settled for a Billy Cundiff missed field goal. Moore was originally signed by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent but was released from the practice squad on September 26th, 2011. On October 5th, 2011 he was picked up by the Patriots who needed depth in the secondary. He would make his NFL debut against the New York Jets at safety, but then was released by the Patriots on December 10th. The Patriots then signed him back on December 14, 2011 and would record two interceptions against the Buffalo Bills returning one for a touchdown. Fast forward to the AFC Championship and Moore has the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI. Related articles TPF’s Hottie of the Week: New England Patriots Cheerleaders (thepenaltyflagblog.com)
