Fox Sports NFL analyst Jay Glazer is reporting once again on Twitter this afternoon as the NFL trade deadline winds down that the Detroit Lions are trying to work a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles for RB Ronnie Brown. Glazer is reporting that the trade deal for the former Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown would be a trade of RB Jerome Harrison and a seventh-round pick in exchange for Brown.
The Eagles signed Brown as a free agent this offseason but he has not been much of a contributor to the Eagles offense this season rushing for only 38 yards on 13 carries.
