Found December 12, 2012 on Blog So Hard Sports:
The other day I wrote about two intense Redskins fans who were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and caught a game worn helmet from DeAngelo Hall. After Yellow Canoe gave the helmet to his buddy (Matt James), he was able to get it signed by none other than D Hall himself (as seen in the photo above). Matt and Joe attended the Lavar and Dukes show at Velocity 5 in Centreville where D Hall was a guest. During a commercial break, they introduced themselves and asked for his autograph. Hall gladly signed the helmet, but requested the visor be returned which they gave to him no problem. Photo from Chad Dukes twitter   As you can see in the top photo, the helmet was signed by Hall and along with the game day ticket encased in a Redskins shrine that will be remembered by these two for some time. That is a pretty solid ending to a story that would make most fans jealous. These two will more than likely be telling this story for some time.       Related posts: DeAngelo Hall Gives His Helmet to an Intense Redskins Fan Following Sunday’s Victory Redskins Fans Have A Lot To Be Thankful for this Thanksgiving A Challenge to Chad Dukes

ESPN admits Rob Parker’s comments were inappropriate

ESPN has come out and admitted that Rob Parker’s comments on First Take were inappropriate. An ESPN spokesman released the following statement: “The comments were inappropriate and we are evaluating our next steps.” In my opinion ESPN needs to fire Parker for all the racial ignorance that he let come out of his mouth.  But I’m sure they’ll just give him a slap on the wrist...

ESPN’s Rob Parker on RG3: “He’s kind of black”

ESPN commentator Rob Parker really blew up RG3's spot, intended or not. On Thursday’s episode of First Take, Parker walked the interracial line within blackness and putting RG3 out there big time. Parker ranted about getting to know Griffin before deeming him worthy of being 'down.' Was there a need to really blow the guy up on national television and also offended...

Robert Griffin III’s Knee Continues To Progress

Washington QB Robert Griffin III is participating in Thursday’s practice, according to Mike Jones. Griffin reportedly was “a little more aggressive” planting on his injured knee, which obviously a great sign for Week 15 status. Last night, Griffin mentioned that he feels “really good” about playing on Sunday. “If I can give the team the best chance to win, then...

Robert Griffin III participates in practice

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III participated in the portion of practice that the media is allowed to see, per Chris Russell of ESPN 980 in Washington D.C. In the very limited portion of practice that media is allowed to see, Griffin did full stretching exercises including running in a straight line, a sideways shuttle (lateral) drill that would essentially be the...

RGII says RGIII will start this week

Robert Griffin II told USA Today Sports that his son, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is just fine and that he told him that he’s going to play this week against the Browns. “He’s doing great,” Robert Griffin II told USA TODAY Sports. “He definitely said he plans to start. I haven’t seen him (the last two days). But he told me (today) everything has...

Injured RG3 back at practice again

Robert Griffin III's knee is looking better. The Washington Redskins rookie was back at practice Thursday, dealing with the effects of a sprained right knee as the team prepares for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Griffin stretched and made some basic throws during the 20 minutes that the practice was open to reporters. He was still favoring his right leg somewhat...

Shanahan plans to play coy about status of Griffin

Mike Shanahan plans to keep his cards close in regards to the status of Robert Griffin III. When asked if he planned to string out the uncertainty surrounding the status of Griffin for Sunday’s game head coach Mike Shanahan said “probably.” Still Shanahan was impressed with what he did see. “He was limited,”Shanahan said, “but I was impressed with how he worked and what...

Robert Griffin III’s father responds to Rob Parker

Earlier today, ESPN’s Rob Parker made some of the most ignorant comments anyone could make during an appearance on Thursday’s First Take. Parker took things way too far when he questioned whether or not Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is “down for the cause” as a black man. “I want to find about him,” Parker said. “I don’t know because I keep hearing these...

"He's not one of us": Rob Parker’s antiquated thoughts on RGIII have no place on TV or anywhere

It’s an attitude that has no place in 2012 but that didn’t stop ESPN talking head Rob Parker from blathering on about it on First Take today. To hold the seemingly antiquated opinion that Robert Griffin may not be sufficiently black is one thing, but to announce it on national TV is foolish, reprehensible and cruel...

Robert Griffin III’s father says his son will start this Sunday

Can Robert Griffin III come back healthy this Sunday to start against the Cleveland Browns? (Credit: AP Photo) While the Washington Redskins have yet to officially announce whether or not quarterback Robert Griffin III will be the starting quarterback this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Although wide receiver Pierre Garcon has hinted that the team may be starting rookie Kirk...

RG3 To Be Game-Time Call

Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III looked better practicing on his sprained knee Thursday but offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan still believes he'll be a game-time decision.Fantasy Spin:We still believe Griffin will play against Cleveland this week but it wouldn't hurt to have a backup plan in place just in case he tweaks something between now and Sunday.

RGIII practices on limited basis

If Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III gets to make the final call whether he plays in Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, there's little doubt No. 10 will be behind center at Browns Stadium. "I feel like I can play through any injury," Griffin said Wednesday. "Does that mean I'll play on Sunday? We'll see." The Redskins...
