Houston Texans star running back Arian Foster has struggled to push beyond a hamstring injury that has bothered him for three weeks now. The Texans have a very important divisional showdown against rival Indianapolis tonight, and will now do so with their offensive centerpiece in tow.
According to John McLain of the Houston Chronicle, Foster will suit up for a game that is seen as a last ditch effort in an attempt save a season that has fallen well short of the once lofty expectations.
The Texans will need to showcase a strong ground game against the Colts as they have officially strayed away from the Matt Schaub disaster, entrenching rookie quarterback and local product Case Keenum as their starter for the foreseeable future. Keenum will need production from Foster and Ben Tate to find a comfort zone against a strong pass rush lead by defensive end Robert Mathis.
