49ers tight end Vernon Davis isn’t sure if he’ll be ready for this week’s game against the Colts after suffering a hamstring injury last week.
“I’m feeling pretty good, sore, bruised up, but that comes with the business, comes with the game,” he said, per the Sacramento Bee. ” Definitely my focus is on this game. .. We shall see when Sunday comes.”
If Davis is unable to play, rookie Vance McDonald will likely get the start. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick will also be missing one of his main targets. He’ll have to hope that Anquan Boldin is able to have a big game afterv getting shut down in Seattle.
