Gholston missing a tackle, surprised?
Once upon a time, Vernon Gholston was the Jets shining hope for a pass rush. Drafted 5th overall, with a beast of a combine and solid Senior season, most Jets fans were pretty happy with the choice. However, 3 years with the Jets and countless opportunities, Gholston recorded a whooping ZERO sacks. It seemed as though every season following Gholston’s rookie year bust, it was finally his season to “break out” in camp. Nothing ever materialized, even though it seemed like Rex Ryan was attempting to turn Gholston into his personal career redemption project.
