Michael Vick has backed out of a commitment to host a Monday night radio show in Philadelphia. Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback will no longer host WIP's "Chickie and Pete's Players Lounge" on Monday nights. Vick had promoted the show in the preseason and was scheduled to make weekly appearances but had only participated in the program after Philly's lone win in Week 1. Pro Football Talk notes that Vick's first absence after Week 2 was due to his concussion. He missed the Week 3 show for unspecified reasons before pulling the plug for good on Monday. Second-year tight end Clay Harbor took his place. The last thing Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles need to be worrying about is doing damage control over another of the quarterback's soundbites.
