There’s been so much conversation about player safety and player suspensions due to either intended or unintended contact while tackling. There’s obvious gray area in most cases because we’re talking about an offensive and defensive player both moving at high speeds. Accidental head contact can happen. What needs to be talked about more are the blatant cheap shots that evidently still exist in the post Bill Romanowski NFL. In Sunday night’s Denver/Indy game Colts center Samson Satele was knocked out of the game by a clear as day cheap shot from Denver defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson. Satele had already been suffering through knee issues, so it seems like this was a blantant targeted attack by this bum D-Lineman. There’s NO PLACE for this in football. We can talk all day about player safety, concussions, and proper tackling technique, but those issues pale in comparison to this kind of malicious garbage.  Shame on Kevin Vickerson and shame on the Broncos coaching staff for having no...
