Owner John Mara has a lot of decisions to make this off-season, and Victor Cruz is very high on the list. Mara has been negotiating with Cruz’s representatives but right now they are asking for too much via Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger.
The explosive receiver has out performed his contract, but the Giants have the leverage with the ability to retain Cruz’s services by tendering him as a restricted free agent at 2.8 million.
Mara doesn’t want to play hardball with Cruz, but ultimately he knows there has to be a limit. “Right now” and that “there’s a limit” to how much the Giants are willing to pay in order to reach an agreement.
Mara went on to say that getting a deal done with Cruz “is a high priority, but he’s not our only priority.”

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw was seen walking around New Orleans with a walking boot on his foot. He told Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger that he had a screw replaced in his foot.
