On gamedays, Victor Cruz proudly wears his Giants blue. But the salsa-dancing receiver will also be going blue in approximately 30 days. In a new Web ad released by Barack Obama’s reelection campaign, Cruz lends his support to the President, urging the public to “get out there and vote” (presumably Democrat). “Being half Latino, it’s been a long time since we’ve actually had a voice like this and had someone that really cares about the Latin community,” Cruz says, via the New York Daily News. “And we need to go out there and let our voices be heard.” “It’s important for people to get hyped up for Election Day, ’cause just like Game Day, what you do on that field or what you do on those ballots are going to determine the winners and losers, so get out there and vote,” Cruz says.
