Everyone has their own opinions about the NFL lockout.
Some have a hard time caring about what they believe to be an argument between the rich and the richer over a few million dollars.
Others believe the lockout is necessary to finally get the players and owners on the same page so the business of football can finally resemble the product on the field.
NFL players who are restricted from the types of organized activities to which they have been accustomed in the early summer months, are, well, bored.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Steve Breaston is no exception.
In the video above, the No. 3 wide receiver for the Arizona NFL franchise delivers some very clever prose about the average fan’s love for the game of football and the harm that the lockout is doing to these fans.
The greater harm, in Breaston’s words, is the damage done to the future of the game, to future fans and young athletes striving to emulate the players they have become accustomed to watching on Sundays.
Wise words from someone who is obviously more in touch with what the lockout is really about that the majority of his peers and those in his business.
The little guy.
The fan.
