New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez threw a short pass to Jets backup QB Tim Tebow. But it hit Tebow in the helmet. It happened in the third quarter of the Jets vs. Miami Dolphins game. The game was tied 10-10 at the time.
BEST OF MAXIM
MIAMI, FL -- Kermit the Frog said it best; it ain't easy being green. Struggling on offense for the majority of the afternoon, the Jets and Mark Sanchez certainly didn't ease their way to a victory over the AFC East rival Miami Dolphins, on Sunday, but they'll take it.Santonio Holmes, who anticipated a big day for the Jets receivers against a young Dolphins' secondary...
Yesterday, we featured of clip of New York Jets back-up quarterback Tim Tebow running a fake punt against the Miami Dolphins.
Tebow later in the game had a chance to make a reception but comedy ensued when he got hit in the helmet with a pass from Mark Sanchez:

Season stats: 50/99, 710 Yards, 5 touchdowns, 3 interceptions – 78.3 QB rating, 50.5 completion percentage
The editor of this website used a word yesterday that can be applied to almost every facet of this Jets team, and is also the best word to describe Mark Sanchez’s performance...
Thanks to our friends from Black Sports Online for posting this funny video from yesterday’s Dolphins-Jets game, in which Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez threw a pass towards Tim Tebow and hit him in the head.
Quarterbacks (D) - Mark Sanchez picked up his play in the 4th quarter and overtime, leading two key drives that helped get the Jets a victory. Throughout those drives he repeatedly made big time throws, which is the only reason this grade is not a F. Sanchez must improve his accuracy and decision making. Sub 50% passing days are unacceptable at this stage of his career, regardless...
I feel like I have a pretty strong stomach for the most part. It takes a lot to make me queasy, but there a couple things that are just too much for me to handle.
Jose Cuervo? Come on, I just ate!
Clubbing baby seals? Just the thought of it makes me sick.
Tim Tebow media coverage? ENOUGH! I can’t take it! Please, make it stop!
The crazy thing about the current Tebow...
This weekend, the New York Jets are on the road against the Miami Dolphins. Last week, Mark Sanchez and the Jets' offense were completely inept with the exception of an early touchdown drive.
To put it simply, this is a make or break game for the Jets, and more specifically, Mark Sanchez. I'll be very frank here; I don't think Tim Tebow can succeed in the long term...
Boomer Esiason: Jets should cut Tim Tebow (8/6/2012)
Remember that? That sounded so silly and premature just 6 weeks ago but Boomer obviously knew what he was talking about. This whole Tim Tebow experiment has to stop. What have we seen so far: they don’t use him in a game the Jets are up by 34 points, they don’t use him when they are down by 7, they don’t use him near the...
Staring a potential 1-2 start in the eyes, Mark Sanchez and the Jets found a way to pull out a victory from the jaws of defeat on Sunday.
After an abysmal start to the game against the Phins, Jets platoon snap-caller Mark Sanchez took his frustration out on the stickers on his face. Did he not learn anything when Jim Leonhard was his teammate?
A pass caromed off Tim Tebow's helmet, which is how things went much of the day for the New York Jets.
Then in overtime, the ball bounced their way.
First the Miami Dolphins missed a potential game-winning field-goal attempt, and then Jets kicker Nick Folk received a reprieve. After Folk's blocked field-goal attempt was negated by a timeout, his retry was a successful 33...
The New York Jets escaped an ugly game at Sun Life Stadium against the Miami Dolphins with a 23-20 win in overtime. The win was already a watered-down one based on the team's performance, but add to that the Darrelle Revis injury and a damper is really put on the victory. In the end, the Jets are 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the AFC East.
It was an ugly, ugly win for the New York...
