Found April 13, 2013 on Bush League Chronicle:
Divine intervention may have played a role in helping Kyle Larson narrowly avoid a collision during Friday night's Nationwide Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.Larson's No. 32 car found itself in all sorts of trouble after blowing a tire upon leaving the pit area. Larson had just received a two-tire change from his pit crew in order to prevent him from falling a lap down. But when Larson sped around the track to try and catch up to the field, one of his tires exploded, and it sent him heading directly toward a cleanup truck.Luckily, the 20-year-old Larson was able to steer his car into the inside wall barrier to avoid a collision, and then went on to miraculously avoid further disaster by dodging incoming traffic, as well."I didn't feel like I was going that fast and wasn't worried about blowing a tire out," Larson said after the race. "The left front blew and I saw a track worker vehicle thing just cruising on the backstretch. (The car) was pulling left pretty hard, so I was just praying there was enough room to squeeze between them. It couldn't have been more than a couple inches."Larson finished the race 32nd after beginning 12th.Via USA TODAY

Bengals approach draft after underwhelming free agency

Two weeks are left before the NFL Draft, which means the meat of free agency is about over. The Bengals have stuck to their word about focusing on re-signing their own and, given they've been a playoff team the last two years, that's a good plan to follow. It has been a successful formula for other organizations and has served Marvin Lewis well the past few years as he has...
