Ref stumbles, bumbles, hits the turf

No matter how prepared you think you are, every once in a while you can’t help but succumb to the pressure of a given situation.  Take this ref for instance, whose feet fail him at the most inopportune moment during today’s Raiders-Jets game. As Oakland was racing to the line of scrimmage to get a field goal attempt off in the dying seconds of the first half, our zebra here is doing a little hustling himself, trying to get the ball to the line for the Raiders attempt.  Except that he has a tad bit of trouble with that basic of human functions we call walking. Ah the hazards of bipedal transport.  All we can do is follow Jets LB Calvin Pace’s lead and point and laugh.
