Bush League Chronicle:
The Washington Redskins called in the heavy machinery Friday morning to dry off their practice field in one of the most unorthodox ways imaginable. Apparently, a huge batch of rain swept over Richmond, Va., the home of the Redskins' training camp, Thursday night and left the field too soggy to trample on. This is when the Redskins decided to call in a helicopter to blow dry the field.“One of the tricks of the trade is to bring in a helicopter to come down on the 50-yard line and blow-dry the fields,” Richmond official Lon Rosenberg told The Washington Post. ”I immediately got on the phone to call the people I know in the community. Everybody wants to help the Redskins, everybody wants the camp to be successful.”A local resident by the name of Whit Baldwin volunteered his chopper free of charge and the rest is history.Via For the Win

The late, great, Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor will be featured in the upcoming video game, Madden 25 as one of the Top 25 players in Madden history. Taylor, who was tragically gunned down in his home in Nov. 2007, made the list that celebrates 25 years of the Madden franchise by selecting the “greatest [...]

You know you've hit the big time when you get a menu item at a local restaurant named after you.
Now Robert Griffin III can officially say he is somebody after the Metro Grill in Richmond, Virginia named a monstrous burger after the Washington Redskins quarterback.
The RG3 Burger isn't just any ordinary burger. According to the Washington Post, this behemoth on a bun consists...
Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan confirmed today that quarterback Robert Griffin III doesn’t have any swelling in his knee and hasn’t suffered any set backs so far.
“I thought he had a good week. The best part about it there wasn’t any setback,” said Shanahan, via Chris Russell of ESPN 980.
Shanahan told reporters they have multiple plans in place for Griffin...
In late July and early August of last year, the Washington Redskins’ energy was that of excitement and anticipation of future potential. With the addition of RGIII, things were looking up, but there were still a lot of question marks surrounding other parts of the team. At this time last year, there was a three man contest for the starting running back job. Would the Redskins offensive...
I don’t know much about Ryan Kerrigan aside from the fact that he’s a linebacker for the Washington Redskins, but I do know an amazing acting performance when I see one. Here’s Kerrigan straight murdering (the good kind, not the Aaron Hernandez kind) his role as the sun in a commercial for a DC-area window company. Just a brilliant performance.
I think I speak for everybody...
This is great.

Fans of Washington Redskins superstar Robert Griffin III can now eat an amazing-looking, gut-wrenching (literally) RG3 burger in his honor in Richmond, Va.
Ryan Kerrigan is a budding star. Forget about punishing his body as a linebacker for the Redskins, Kerrigan is a friggin’ thespian prodigy!…
After sitting through an entire offseason, the NFL season is finally here as teams reported to training camp last week. Just as we saw last year with guys like Andrew Luck, Russell Westbrook and Redskins teammates, Robert Griffin III and Alfred Morris, we’re expecting a few guys to establish themselves as the potential best of [...]
Previously, we were simultaneously amused and a bit frightened by Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan’s “star turn” (zing) as the sun in a commercial for regional window outfit, Thompson Creek Window Company. Apparently, this Thompson Creek Window Company has cornered the market on retaining the services of players from NFL teams in the region […]The post Like...
Santana Moss WR Washington Redskins
Moss continues to impress at camp and appears to have a solid hold on the slot receiver position, the Washington Post reports.
Moss may not have the flat out speed as in the past but he has good hands and runs crisp routes. He could make an impact this year as teams focus on shutting down Pierre Garcon and Fred Davis....

According to the Associated Press, Robert Griffin III’s snap count has been increasing at Redskins camp.
Coach Mike Shanahan said the quarterback had about “16 or 17″ snaps Wednesday during 7-on-7 drills.
That’s an increase from eight snaps the first few days and 10 snaps the next few days as Griffin works back into shape following reconstructive...
