The NFL is back! It’s an amazing feeling to know that there will be football to watch on every Sunday, Monday and Thursday for the next 4+ months. The NFL season kicked off last night with the Dallas Cowboys traveling to East Rutherford, New Jersey to take on the defending Super Bowl Champion New York Giants and neither team disappointed. It was a thrilling game from start to finish and both teams played well on both sides of the ball. Thanks to a MVP type day from their QB Tony Romo, the Cowboys won the NFC East battle and beat the Giants 24-17. Romo was on his game last night completing 22 of 29 passes for 307 yds and 3 tds. After the completion, all Romo had to do was kneel on the ball three times to close out the game. Check out highlights from the game...

Ogletree led the Cowboys in targets, catching eight passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns...

If New York Giants’ Eli Manning is “ELITE”, what’s that make Tony Romo?

If Eli Manning is “ELITE”, according to ESPN and New York Giants fans, then after last nights performance what does that make Tony Romo?  I guess if I was to use the same nonsense rating system, then Tony Romo is the KING of all quarterbacks.   Unlike these hallucinational groups, I have enough common sense to not over rate a player after a good game or one or two good...

NFL Picks: Over, under win totals you must play

As Grantland writer Bill Barnwell recently wrote, “Everything is more fun when you have money riding on it. That’s not a sign of a potentially crippling addiction, is it?”  Football starts tonight, which means it’s the time of the year where those of us who smiled and nodded at that previous quote, for the most [...]
