Washington Redskins running back Tim Hightower is making a name for himself on the field with his consistent, grinding style.
Now, he is making a name for himself off the field as well.
In an interview with CSN yesterday– seen in the video above– Hightower essentially guaranteed a Redskins Super Bowl berth stating that “the fun will be in February when you guys are interviewing us up in Indy.”
Well, ok, Tim.
I guess he knows something we don’t know.
While off to a nice start, it’s hard to see the Redskins making their way through the NFC East, much less through the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, or New Orleans Saints– all of whom have shown the type of ability and toughness to take home the NFC Championship.
It’s a bold statement by someone who is just starting to build a reputation.
Not always the brightest decision– unless you can walk the walk when you talk the talk.
Is this something Hightower can pull off?
