According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, the Baltimore Ravens and running back Ray Rice haven’t made any progress towards getting a contract extension completed.
The Ravens of course could decide to hit Rice with the franchise tag in order to try and work out a long-term extension over the course of the offseason.
I cant imagine the Ravens not doing everything they can...
After the game ended I avoided exposing myself to sports news for a few days. So it wasn’t until about Wednesday that I realized people were blaming Wes Welker for the loss. That’s crazy to me. As the play in question was happening, I though to myself that the throw was too high, and it never crossed my mind again. Welker is a tiny guy. I’ve met him a couple times...
Patriots receiver Wes Welker has taken a lot of heat in Boston and beyond since the Super Bowl. Mike Florio gives us a Buccaneers offseason “to do list.” Florio discusses their free agents and the need for a good wide receiver. Florio also suggests that the Buccaneers get a veteran quarterback to assist Josh Freeman. Florio also puts former Rutgers running back Ray Rice on the table for the Buccaneers.
By now, Gisele, you should have cooled off some. By now you should have studied the films of the game. Thus, you should have come to realize that Wes Welker, Aaron Hernandez, and Deion Branch are all and all arguably pretty good receivers. Perhaps, you still feel that they should have caught every pass near them. No argument! The truth, however, is that nary a receiver...
