Bleacher Report:
After today do Sage Rosenfels and Tavaris Jackson have the right to be upset? You bet. They have every right on this God-given planet to be pissed. Why? The reason is pretty obvious. Brett Favre.
Three weeks ago Favre said no thanks to coming to the Vikings right before the opening of training camp. It was at that point that Brad Childress should have absolutely killed any chance of Favre coming to the Vikings.
After Favre said no thanks to coming to the Vikings, Jackson and Rosenfels assumed they would be battling for the starting job. Then Favre just waltzed into the Vikings camp today and is just given the starting job. Legend or not a guy should have to go through a teams whole offseason training, OTAs and training camp to earn the starting job, not just walk right in three weeks after saying no and handed a job.
Does the addition of Favre make the Vikings a better team and possible Super Bowl contenders? It does if, and these are huge "if's," he can stay healthy ...
