Vikings get busy on undrafted free agent trail

I've got my coffee, I've got my cell phone, I've got my lunchpail (who has a lunchpail anymore?). A manic free agency blitz begins today. But last night and this morning serves as an appetizer in the form of undrafted free agents. Vice president of player personnel Rick Spielman estimates the team will sign "almost 30 bodies" in order to get close to a 90-player roster to start camp. The Vikings began that process Monday night. I've confirmed these signings: Ohio State cornerback Devon Torrence, Hillsdale wide receiver Andre Holmes and Arizona offensive guard Conan Amituanai. These deals won't become official until today. The Vikings could sign several more undrafted free agents before the week is over. The Vikings need help at safety and both lines.
