Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin once again did
not practice Wednesday as he attempts to recover from a sprained left ankle.
Defensive tackle Letroy Guion also missed practice, while cornerback Antoine
Winfield was among the players limited Wednesday.
Harvin sustained his injury during last weekend’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks. While he hasn’t practiced this week, Vikings’ coach
Leslie Frazier is optimistic that the wide receiver will be able to return to
practice by Friday. If he’s able to return and shows enough when he does,
Harvin could play this weekend against the Detroit Lions despite being seen on
crutches on Monday.
Frazier is also optimistic that Guion, who’s dealing with
turf toe, will be able to play on Sunday. Winfield (knee), fullback Jerome
Felton (shoulder) and offensive lineman Matt Kalil (knee) were all limited at
practice Wednesday.
