The Vikings lead 14-3 at halftime, but their offense has lost momentum. After scoring touchdowns on their first two drives, the Vikings offense has since gone three-and-out on three of their final four possessions. Brett Favre has done a solid job, completing 10 of 15 passes for 121 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also was sacked twice, although he proactively went down both times. Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has nine carries for 50 yards. Baltimore Ravens running backs have combined for 10 carries for 13 yards, with a long of five yards. But receiver Derrick Mason has hurt the Vikings, with three catches for 57 yards. Two of those were against Karl Paymah, after the veteran cornerback replaced Antoine Winfield, who suffered a turf-toe injury early in the second quarter. Nickel cornerback Benny Sapp also was out of the game, so the Vikings are thin in the secondary.
