The Vikings' new-look line is assembled and starting preparations for the regular season. Minnesota went four straight seasons with the league's first- or second-ranked run defense from 2006 to 2009. Those days featured Pat Williams at nose tackle and Kevin Williams at defensive tackle, the duo that earned the clever nickname of the Williams Wall for stopping an offense's running game. Flanking them for most of those years were Jared Allen and Ray Edwards as the bookend defensive ends. But it's out with the old, in with the new when the Vikings open the 2011 season against the San Diego Chargers. The once-imposing Vikings defensive line will be spread across the country.
