The Vikings have created cap space by restructuring the contract of a seemingly rejuvenated Bernard Berrian, the Vikings have their own problems at left tackle. Bryant McKinnie, who looks out of shape upon his return from the NFL lockout, did not practice with his teammates in Monday's training camp opener after being placed on the non-football injury list. McKinnie and coach Leslie Frazier were vague on the subject when approached after practice, with McKinnie saying he has "issues" and that conditioning would help his issues. Asked to elaborate, McKinnie said he could not discuss further. Frazier said McKinnie is "going to be fine" as the Vikings look to find out whether he's "ready to play when the season rolls around."
