It's HATEHATEHATE Week with the first Vikings/Packers game coming up on Sunday. Surprisingly, there's not actually a large amount of "hate" going around, either from this site, other Packer sites, Packer players, fat Packer fans, and everywhere else. Maybe it's because we all know the Vikings are *figuratively* out of the playoffs, even if mathematically we still have like an 18% chance of making it. "So you're saying there's a chance ..." No, I'm not. It was a good run, sweet purple, but in the midst of a rebuilding year some disappointment like this is not unexpected. However, that doesn't mean we can't remember how much we hate the Green Bay Packers, nor stroll down memory lane and relive some of the best moments against Green Bay that went in the Vikings favor. I say that explicitly because there sure as **** has been a lot of things that have gone AGAINST us when we play the Packers that I choose not to remember. So join us for our four favorite Vikings/Packers YouTube highlights after the jump, and feel free to share yours in the comments. It's a great way for us to all waste a day together. Vikings at Packers, November 1, 2009 (Vikings win 38-26) Brett Favre's return to Lambeau as a member of the Vikings was pretty god damn epic, even though I hated Ol' Wrinkle Balls with the best of them. I still do. But the fact that he played out of his geriatric mind and butt bumped the Packers all night long was masochistically satisfying. I mean, the last thing I want is for Favre to be successful, but I love it when the Vikings beat the Packers. It was a strange brew. Best part of it though was when Percy went nuts between three Packer defenders and then in for the touchdown. Eat ****, Cheeseheads. Vikings at Packers, January 9, 2005, Wild Card Playoffs (Vikings win 31-17) Despite the Vikings and Packers being long time rivals (even if it is a bit more of a one sided rivalry with Vikings fans always forgetting about the Packers and Bears one), this cold night in January was actually the first time that the Vikings and Packers met in a playoff game. Back then we still had AFROS, aka, Randy Moss, who blew minds because he was playing this game on a gimpy ankle. Did that matter? Of course not. He caught a touchdown pass over Al Harris like the ***** Al Harris is and then faux-mooned the Packer faithful, pissed off Joe Buck, and likely got himself traded to Oakland. Epic? YOU BET YOUR ASS. Vikings at Packers, October 5, 1998 (Vikings win 37-24) Remember this little gem? That's just Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Randy Moss taxin' butts and bustin' nuts all over the Green Bay Packers in this primetime, Monday Night Football match up. In the first game of his career against the Packers, Moss went for a cool 190 yards and 2 touchdowns, and made the Packers look like silly little girls trying to chase a balloon around on a string. The Vikings went on to beat them again later in the year at the Metrodome, but the rest of the season we obviously don't talk about. Vikings at Packers, September 8, 2008 (Vikings lose 19-24) Despite the Vikings loss in this game, it wasn't all for naught, as the team did eventually ride the butterfly arm and candy cane neck of Gus Frerotte to a 10-6 record and the playoffs, while the Packers finished 6-10 and smelled of elderberries. Keep in mind, the only reason we lost ANY game that year can all be traced back to Tarvaris Jackson. Somehow. But this game is particularly memorable because Adrian Peterson absolutely DEMORALIZED Al Harris on a run to the outside. I'm pretty sure it was soon after that where Harris was traded (or cut, whatever), and never allowed back, since he had now been clowned by BOTH Randy Moss and Purple Jesus. C'est la vie, Monsieur Harris. You got a favorite moment between the Vikings and the Packers you can find on YouTube? Drop it in the comments below. I worked to try and find the game winning Paul Edinger, 56-yard kick against the Packers in the Metrodome online, but I couldn't find any video. Otherwise, that's definitely a top 4 moment for me as well. [follow]

Kalil focusing on Packers, not Hawaii
