EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. With five weeks remaining in the voting for this year's Pro Bowl, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has tallied 298,323 votes, the fifth-highest total in the league. Several Minnesota teammates are also leading their respective positions in the NFC.
Peterson, who leads the league with 1,128 rushing yards to go with seven touchdowns, leads all NFC running backs and trails only Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning (376,981 votes), New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (345,036 votes), Houston Texans running back Arian Foster (333,396 votes) and Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers (320,307 votes) in the voting.
Voting continues through Dec. 17 for the game in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Jan. 27, with the Pro Bowl teams based on a combination of votes from fans, players and coaches.
