On Tuesday, Minnesota Vikings receiver Bernard Berrian was scheduled to meet with coach Leslie Frazier for the second time in two days about his future with the team.
Apparently, that meeting did not go well despite Berrian saying Monday that he wanted to remain with the Vikings.
NFL Networks Jason LaCanfora is reporting that the Vikings have placed Berrian, 30, on waivers.Berrian had been a healthy scratch in two of the past three games, including Sundays loss against the Green Bay Packers.
On Monday, Frazier wouldnt reveal the reason for Berrians most recent deactivation.
"There's just some things that he and I have to talk about to make sure that we get on the same page about what direction we want to go in," said Frazier of Berrian, who took a pay cut to stay with the team before training camp started. "And we're going to have a little meeting of the minds and see where we are."
