EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman has maintained his team has interest in signing its unrestricted free agents.
Avoiding going into detail about any of them, including 10 players from last season's playoff team who will be reaching unrestricted free-agent status in March, Spielman would only say Friday that, "We'd love to have all our UFAs back."
Spielman and his staff have been heavily involved in evaluating draft-eligible players recently, but the discussion with agents about veteran players will reach a high point during next week's annual Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Spielman said Friday that the team has set up meetings with agents to take place at the Combine, and assistant general manager Rob Brzezinski has had some preliminary talks.
"I think most of the business will start to really hone in when we're down at the Combine," Spielman said.

The Minnesota Vikings have never really been a progressive team, at least not since they left the best home field advantage* in all of football behind for the comfort of being an indoor team back in 1982. Well, they are moving out of the Metrodome for a flashy new indoor stadium, but before they do they have decided the time has come to update their Norseman logo. And when I say...
For some time now, there’s seemingly been friction between WR/returner Percy Harvin and the Minnesota Vikings, the cause of which hasn’t immediately been evident. As a result, some have speculated that he could be traded, though the return on that transaction for the Vikings would likely not be as strong as having the playmaker on the field. Things may have changed, however....
According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin is unhappy with their passing game and not his contract.
The issues between receiver Percy Harvin and the Vikings have been widely mischaracterized, according to a source close to the team. Harvin’s frustration is based around the scope of the passing game and not his contract. Harvin’s...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Leslie Frazier never received the contract extension expected by many after he helped guide the Minnesota Vikings to a seven-win improvement in 2012, a 10-6 record and a spot in the playoffs.
Instead of extending Frazier's deal, Minnesota chose this week to exercise an option on his contract, which has him now tied to the Vikings through the 2014 season...

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman says they “have no intent” of trading wide receiver Percy Harvin. They expect him to report to training camp like every other player.
There was a report last week that the Vikings will look to trade Harvin. Now that doesn’t seem to be the case.
CBS Sports reported that Harvin is unhappy...

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports writes that Percy Harvin‘s frustrations aren’t related the status of his contract and instead are related to the team’s offensive approach.
La Canfora mentions that the issues between the Vikings and Harvin have been “widely mischaracterized.“
Harvin has reportedly not complained about his current contract situation and hasn’t threatened...

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Next season will be the Minnesota Vikings' last in the 31-year-old Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, and fans of the purple and gold can look forward to blue lips and red cheeks as they shiver through two seasons of old-school, outdoor football.
