The Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday released wide receiver Bernard Berrian, NFL.com reported Tuesday.
Berrian was inactive despite being healthy In Week 5 and Week 7. He has missed team meetings this season and met Monday with coach Leslie Frazier.
Berrian agreed to take a pay cut to avoid being cut in preseason but has just seven catches for 91 yards.
Berrian was in his fourth season with Minnesota after spending four years with Chicago. He had just 28 receptions for 252 yards with no TDs last season.
