There’s no questioning Harvin’s talent, as he showed flashes
of greatness last season. However, he’s entering the final year of his contract
and has proven a significant injury risk throughout his young career.
Rather than provide Harvin the mega-contract he seeks, the
Vikings could elect to sign Wallace, another wide receiver known for his
big-play ability. If they were to add Wallace, Minnesota could then attempt to
trade Harvin this offseason.

In case you didn’t know this, free agency in the NFL starts on Tuesday and one if it’s most prized catches is currently a Pittsburgh Steeler named Mike Wallace. Tonight at midnight, teams can start contacting players who are free agents and can agree to terms of a deal even before the official signing day.
I fully expect Wallace to be in place with a new team before that date...
A number of problems have already been examined between Percy Harvin and the Minnesota Vikings, but a new report sheds further light into the situation.
According to Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports, Harvin threatened to walk out on the Vikings prior to last season after the New England Patriots gave an extension to tight end Aaron Hernandez, his college teammate at the University of Florida...
According to Sid Hartman of Star Tribune, wide receiver Percy Harvin has told the Minnesota Vikings that he wants to be traded.
The latest word from some good sources around the NFL is that Harvin, who missed the final seven regular-season games as well as the playoff game because of a serious ankle injury, has told the Vikings that he doesn’t want to play for them and wants to...
Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin isn't happy. That much isn't new. The Vikings have also said that they would like to keep their unhappy wide receiver. Also old news. The news today is that Percy Harvin wants to be traded, this according to Sid Hartman of the "Star Tribune," citing "good sources" around the NFL. A Harvin, Vikings break up now seems...
We have more Pittsburgh Steelers free agent buzz to pass along on Saturday with just a few more days to go until the start of the new league year on Tuesday.
Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network reports on Twitter that he is hearing the Miami Dolphins might be interested in unrestricted free agent running back Rashard Mendenhall should they decide to part ways with running back...
Sid Hartman of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that Percy Harvin has informed the Vikings that he “doesn’t want to play for them and wants to be traded.”
Hartman sounds convinced that Harvin won’t be back in Minnesota next year, but the report seems to be a little speculative.
Harvin’s issues with the Vikings have been well documented, but numerous reports have suggested...
Pittsburgh Steelers Mike Wallace is a done deal as a free agent and will be the most sought after wide receiver prospect available in 2013. Firstly because of his age at 26, and secondly because of his big play ability to blow the tops off defenses. That contract will be around 55 million plus for a 5 year minimum contract. It’s exactly the type of money Vincent Jackson commanded...
Mike Wallace is the top free agent wide receiver on the market, and a few teams are expected to pursue him.
The Miami Dolphins have been mentioned as the team expected to make the strongest run at Wallace, but new reports say the Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans will also go after the speedster.
According to NFL.com’s Jeff Darlington, who used to be a beat writer covering...

A report says that Percy Harvin has told the Minnesota Vikings that he doesn't want to play for them and that he wants to be traded.
Mike Wallace has blazing speed that can char a secondary.
Nobody in the NFL caught more passes of 40-plus yards between 2007 and 2011 than Greg Jennings.
They are the two most attractive wide receivers in the upcoming class of unrestricted free agents.
But based upon the history of the position, it may prove a costly mistake to ink either to the big-money contracts both are expected...
1. Wide Receiver
The Minnesota Vikings need to upgrade the talent around Christian Ponder. Michael Jenkins has already been cut, and to make matters worse, it sounds as though Percy Harvin could be traded at some point this offseason. This is a position that must be address with a high-profile free agent, or in the first round of the draft.
The Vikings could use an...
